In Our Hands Campaign

2020, International

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Alight launched an international campaign aimed at uniting global communities in combating the virus. Focused on densely populated urban areas and other critical regions, the campaign was launched quickly in March of 2020 to address the urgent need to mobilize people in following preventative measures against the virus.
With this urgency, this project was scoped with a large design team. I was a part of a four person brand team that was responsible for illustrating and designing the posters with key messaging. The campaign assets were designed to be visually striking, modular, easy to share, and universally understandable. After doing some initial research on the messaging, we worked across time-zones to quickly develop, test, and iterate concepts, and pushed the final versions out into the world within just two weeks. With case numbers soaring globally, we knew that the sooner we launched the campaign, the more immediate the impact on the health and wellbeing of our target communities.
Since its launch, the “In Our Hands” campaign has reached 50 million people. It has been translated into 47 languages and disseminated by more than 29 organizations, 170 social media influencers, and 375 Catholic Sisters.
